🦖 نبذة عن الكارنوطوروس (Carnotaurus)

كارنوطوروس هو نوع من الديناصورات اللاحمة التي عاشت خلال
العصر الطباشيري المتأخر.
اسمه يعني “الثور آكل اللحم” بسبب قرنيه المميزين فوق عينيه.

🔹 نبذة عنه:

• المظهر: يعرف بقرنين قصيرين وغليظين فوق عينيه، وذراعين قصيرين للغاية، حتى أقصر من ذراعي التيرانوصور ركس.
• الحجم: كان ديناصوراً متوسط الحجم مقارنة بالديناصورات الكبيرة، حيث وصل طوله إلى حوالي 9 أمتار ووزنه إلى حوالي 2 طن.
• السرعة: يُعتقد أنه كان من الديناصورات اللاحمة السريعة الحركة بفضل عضلات ساقيه القوية.
• الاكتشاف: تم اكتشاف الهيكل العظمي الكامل للكارنوطوروس في الأرجنتين عام 1984.

🦖 Carnotaurus

Carnotaurus, a species of carnivorous dinosaurs that lived during the
late Cretaceous period.
Its name means “meat-eating bull” due to the distinctive horns above its eyes.

🔹 About it:

• Appearance: It is characterized by short, thick horns above its eyes, and extremely short arms, even shorter than those of the Tyrannosaurus rex.
• Size: It was a medium-sized dinosaur compared to larger dinosaurs, reaching a length of about 9 meters and weighing around 2 tons.
• Speed: It is believed to have been one of the faster carnivorous dinosaurs, with strong leg muscles and powerful limbs.
• Discovery: The complete skeleton of Carnotaurus was discovered in Argentina in 1984.
