🦖 الألوصور (Allosaurus)

يُعد الألوصور أحد أشهر الديناصورات اللاحمة التي عاشت في
العصر الجوراسي المتأخر، أي قبل حوالي 155 إلى 145 مليون سنة.
كان الألوصور مفترسًا ضخمًا، يصل طوله إلى 9.7 متر ويزن حوالي 2.3 طن.

تميّز هذا الديناصور بجمجمة كبيرة تحتوي على أسنان حادة ومنحنية للخلف،
وذراعين قصيرتين نسبيًا لكنهما قويتان، بثلاثة أصابع مزودة بمخالب حادة.

يُعد الألوصور أحد أقوى المفترسات في عصره، وكان يصطاد الديناصورات العاشبة الكبيرة مثل الستيغوصور.
اكتُشفت حفرياته بكثرة في أمريكا الشمالية، مما جعله واحدًا من أكثر الديناصورات دراسةً وتوثيقًا في علم الحفريات.

The Allosaurus is considered one of the most famous carnivorous dinosaurs that lived during the
Late Jurassic period, approximately 155 to 145 million years ago.
It was a large predator, reaching a length of about 9.7 meters and weighing around 2.3 tons.

This dinosaur was characterized by a large skull with sharp, backward-curving teeth,
and relatively short but strong forearms equipped with three fingers ending in sharp claws.

The Allosaurus was one of the strongest predators of its time, and it hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs,
such as the Stegosaurus.
Its fossils have been discovered in abundance in North America, making it one of the most extensively studied and well-documented dinosaurs in paleontology.
