🦖 البراكيوصور (Brachiosaurus)

كان البراكيوصور من الديناصورات آكلة النباتات (herbivores)،
وينتمي إلى مجموعة الصوروبيات (sauropods) التي اشتهرت بأعناقها الطويلة.
عاش هذا الكائن خلال العصر الجوراسي المتأخر أي قبل حوالي 155 إلى 140 مليون سنة.

🔹 أهم صفاته:

• الفراء: كان يغطي جسده طبقة سميكة من الفراء البني أو الأسود، يصل طولها إلى متر واحد، بالإضافة إلى طبقة داخلية عازلة من الصوف.
• الحجم: بلغ طوله حوالي 3 أمتار عند الكتف، ووزنه بين 4 إلى 6 أطنان.
• النظام الغذائي: كان يأكل الأعشاب والنباتات.
• الموطن: انتشر في شمال أوروبا، وآسيا، وأمريكا الشمالية.
• الانقراض: انقرض البراكيوصور منذ حوالي 4000 عام، ويعتقد أن تغير المناخ وفقدان بيئته الطبيعية بالإضافة إلى الصيد من قبل البشر كانت من الأسباب الرئيسية لانقراضه.

🦖 About the Brachiosaurus

The Brachiosaurus was a type of plant-eating dinosaur (herbivores) and belongs to the group of sauropods,
which are known for their long necks. This creature lived during the Late Jurassic period, about 155 to 140 million years ago.

🔹 Key Characteristics:

• Fur: It was covered by a thick layer of fur, brown or black, with a length of up to one meter, in addition to an internal insulating layer of wool.
• Size: It reached a height of about 3 meters at the shoulder, and weighed between 4 to 6 tons.
• Diet: It fed on grasses and plants.
• Habitat: It spread across Northern Europe, Asia, and North America.
• Extinction: The Brachiosaurus became extinct around 4000 years ago, and it is believed that climate change, the loss of its natural habitat, and hunting by humans were the main causes of its extinction.
