🦖 الديناصور تي-ريكس (Tyrannosaurus Rex)

نبذة عن الديناصور T-Rex: الديناصور المعروض في الصورة هو تمثال يجسّد نوع Tyrannosaurus Rex، ويُعرف اختصارًا باسم T-Rex، أي “الديناصور الطاغية الملك”. يُعد هذا النوع أحد أشهر الديناصورات التي عاشت على سطح الأرض وأقواها على الإطلاق.

🔹 فترة العيش:

عاش T-Rex في نهاية العصر الطباشيري، قبل نحو 68 إلى 66 مليون سنة، وكان ينتشر في الجزء الغربي من أمريكا الشمالية.

🔹 الحجم والوزن:

كان من أضخم الديناصورات آكلة اللحوم، حيث وصل طوله إلى حوالي 12 مترًا (40 قدمًا)، وارتفاعه إلى 6 أمتار (20 قدمًا)، بينما تراوح وزنه بين 5 و9 أطنان.

🔹 المظهر:

تميّز برأس ضخم وفكوك قوية جدًا تحتوي على أسنان حادة قد يصل طول الواحدة منها إلى 30 سم (12 بوصة). كانت أرجله الخلفية طويلة وقوية تساعده على الحركة السريعة، بينما كانت أذرعه الأمامية قصيرة جدًا وضعيفة نسبيًا، لكنها مزودة بمخالب حادة.

🔹 النظام الغذائي:

كان T-Rex ديناصورًا لاحمًا (آكلًا للحوم). وبفضل حجمه الهائل وقوته المدمرة، يُعتقد أنه كان صيادًا مفترسًا يطارد فرائسه، ومع ذلك يرى بعض العلماء أنه ربما كان يتغذى أحيانًا على الجيف أيضًا.

The dinosaur shown in the image is a statue representing the Tyrannosaurus Rex, commonly known as T-Rex, meaning “Tyrant Lizard King.” It is considered one of the most famous and powerful dinosaurs that ever lived on Earth.

🔹 Period of Existence:

The T-Rex lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 68 to 66 million years ago, and inhabited the western regions of North America.

🔹 Size and Weight:

It was among the largest carnivorous dinosaurs, reaching a length of about 12 meters (40 feet), a height of 6 meters (20 feet), and a weight ranging between 5 and 9 tons.

🔹 Appearance:

The T-Rex had a massive head and extremely powerful jaws lined with sharp teeth, each reaching up to 30 cm (12 inches) in length. Its hind legs were long and strong, allowing fast movement, while its forearms were very short and relatively weak, yet equipped with sharp claws.

🔹 Feeding Habits:

The T-Rex was a carnivorous predator. Thanks to its enormous size and strength, it is believed to have been an active hunter that chased down its prey. However, some scientists suggest that it may have also fed on carrion at times.
